Our customer’s original Industrial Filter Housing was aging and needed replacement filters. They needed end-of-line filtration for their LVP (Large Volume Parenteral), and told us “The filters need to have no dead space inside and be able to withstand frequent steam autoclaving (SIP).
We use 316L stainless steel to make the filter housing, and the internal surface is mechanically polished to 0.4 μm, which is 100% in line with GMP aseptic hygiene requirements.
We were informed by the customer that our industrial cartridge filter housing helped them to reduce the amount of liquid residue and save about 4 liters of expensive liquid per batch. The EPDM seals were not deformed and did not leak under the daily 120℃ high temperature sterilization operation, which ensured the safety of their production line.
Finally, it is made into a rocker arm design, so that one person can open the heavy top cover, avoiding the risk of injury to employees, but also shortening his downtime for bag change from 30 minutes to 5 minutes.
