Acrylic Filter Bag Material
FiltEdge’s acrylic filter bags are available in 2 main materials, homopolymer acrylic or copolymer acrylic. The most commonly used fabric is 350-600gsm needle felted homopolymer acrylic. Homopolymer acrylic is 100% pure, high quality acrylonitrile needle felted. It can withstand higher temperatures (125°C) than copolymerized acrylic. In wet, acidic applications, homopolymer acrylic filter bags are less likely to corrode and break, and the service life can be directly increased by a factor of 2, reducing your long-term consumable costs and labor costs for bag changes.

Polyester filter bags work at about 110℃, acrylic filter bags can work continuously in 125℃. And the biggest advantage of acrylic filter bags is that they are not easily hydrolyzed and have excellent acid resistance. If you are using the filter bag in the environment with water vapor, high temperature and sulfur, then the acrylic filter bag extends the service life 2-3 times longer than the polyester filter bag, which can save you cost as well as reduce the frequency of changing the bag, and the comprehensive cost-effective will be higher.
FiltEdge’s acrylic filter bags are manufactured to tight tolerances of ±2mm. We measure the folded width, overall length, and diameter of the bag before it leaves the factory. If the filter bag cannot be installed due to our reasons, we promise to return it for a refund.
Of course it can be done. The simplest and most effective way is to do ePTFE membrane lamination treatment on the basis of ordinary acrylic filter bag, which can improve the filtration precision and make your factory reach the emission standard.
