Generally speaking, you need to change the filter bag or cartridge once every 1-4 months, depending on the quality of the slurry you are filtering. The most intuitive is to check the change value of the differential pressure gauge during the maintenance of the equipment to see if the filter bag/element needs to be replaced.
It depends on what type of filter casing you are using. If you use manual bag/cartridge filter housing, you can directly replace the filter bag/cartridge with different precision to achieve the purpose of adjusting the precision. If you are using a fully automatic filter, you need to buy other precision screens or cartridges from the manufacturer and replace them to achieve the purpose of adjusting the precision. Comparatively speaking manual filter casing are easier to adjust the precision than fully automatic ones.
It mainly depends on whether you are using a manual filter or a full-automatic filter. Manual filters, such as bag-type quick-opening filters/cartridge filters, these filters need to open the cover of the equipment to replace the filter bag cartridge and re-install it during maintenance and cleaning, so it is necessary to completely interrupt the filtration and production to eliminate the pressure. If you use a full-automatic filter housing, filtration, cleaning, and slag removal are all automatic operation, it is possible to run 24 hours a day without interruption, without the need to interrupt your production.
FiltEdge’s filter casing can be customized with thickened design, so that the pressure-bearing capacity can reach 2.5 MPa. The temperature of our filter casing is mainly affected by the sealing material, and usually the housing material with stainless steel can reach 350°C. So the temperature that the seals can withstand is the key to the temperature that the whole filter can withstand, which is selected according to your working conditions. Our seals are made of different materials and can withstand up to 150℃.
