Normally, stainless steel is more suitable for chemical liquids because of its acid and alkali resistance, high pressure resistance and high temperature resistance. Carbon steel filter surface coating and other anti-corrosion technology, can also be used in ordinary corrosive chemical liquids, is a relatively economical filtration solutions.
The precision of the cartridge filter housing is higher than that of the bag filter housing, which can reach 0.1μm and is used for high-precision filtration. Bag chemical filter housing usually can not reach this precision, but its cost is lower than the cartridge, and can handle a wider range of flow. In short, there is no absolute good or bad in the two types of filter housings, and it is most important to choose a chemical filter housing that best suits your working conditions.
The main difference between the two types of filters is the difference in the range of processing flow. Secondly, both chemical filter housings are made of stainless steel, single-bag chemical filter housings are also made of PVDF/PP which are two kinds of plastic materials, and multi-bag type is not made of plastic materials in most cases. They have different ways of opening the lid, multi-bag chemical filter housing, especially when you need a high flow rate, usually use the labor-saving quick-open design structure, while the single-bag type usually does not do quick-open. You need to go for the right filter for you according to the chemical nature of the filtered liquid, flow rate, precision, temperature, pressure and so on.
