A: Our single bag filter housing will fit any standard size 01-04 bag. However, I have to remind you that the sealing rings of many third party bags are not as hard as they should be, and can be easily punctured under high pressure, resulting in side leakage. In order to prevent you from wasting your money on a bunch of scrap, I suggest you send me your consumable specifications when you make your first selection, so that you don’t let the poor quality filter bags ruin the filtration accuracy of the whole machine.
Confirm whether your project requires ASME design, certification or a code stamp before ordering. Following selected design requirements is not equivalent to certified or stamped construction. Available documentation and the exact supply scope must be stated in the quotation.
A: Those single bag filter housings on the market that are designed to save material and have wall thicknesses that step over the qualification line will basically deform permanently when they encounter the water hammer effect (instantaneous pressure shocks). We give you a 20% safety margin for the wall thickness of the cylinder. Even if the instantaneous pressure fluctuation exceeds the rated pressure, the redundant structural strength ensures that the barrel body will not expand the bag and the flange will not warp.
A: Intergranular corrosion is the death knell of many stainless steel installations. For this single bag filter housing, we not only provide a material report (MTR), but also use argon gas shielded welding and post-weld passivation treatment to completely remove the chromium-depleted layer in the heat-affected zone in the critical weld seams.
