How Do I Choose Between Sintered Metal Powder And Sintered Wire Mesh?

It depends on your requirements for filtration accuracy, fluid flux, and pollutant capacity. The accuracy of the sintered metal powder filter is higher by 0.2-20 μ m, and the hardness is stronger; Although the accuracy of the sintered wire mesh filter is lower, ranging from 5-200 μ m, it has low fluid resistance, high porosity, larger dirt capacity, and is easier to clean.

What Are The Main Cleaning Methods For Sintered Metal Filter Elements?

There are three main cleaning methods for sintered metal filters:

  1. Backwashing/Backblowing: Suitable for automated online cleaning, can remove surface filter cake.
  2. Ultrasonic Cleaning: Suitable for deep filtration filters such as powder sintering, which need to be removed from the filter for cleaning.
