Bag Filter System Quick Release Construction
FiltEdge’s Bag Filter System’s vertical lid opening mechanism with gravity balance assist allows you to open the filter lid with one hand. Our quick-open mechanism reduces operation time to 15 seconds. The life span of our Bag Filter System’s filter bags depends on the turbidity of your filter media, flow rate, and operating conditions. Generally speaking, the bag needs to be replaced in 1-3 months, you can also use the differential pressure gauge on the filter to determine if it needs to be replaced.
The regular Bag Filter System is usually operated manually by opening the lid and replacing the bag. If you think the bag replacement is frequent, you can buy semi-automatic Bag Filter System, which can be backwashed automatically and the bag is replaced once in half a year to save your frequent operation.
Compared with cartridge filter housing, Bag Filter System has a larger capacity, and the replacement cost of filter bag is lower than that of cartridge. It can be used for coarse filtration, which is suitable for handling large flow rates, as well as for precision filtration.
The precision of cartridge filter housing is higher than that of bag filter, and it is often used in the precision filtration part of the system, and only the scenarios that need super purification will be used in the front-end filtration to protect the back-end equipments, such as RO membrane filtration, or chip production.
