SS bag filter housing is mainly made of SS304/SS316/SS316L. Bag filter housing is not only made of stainless steel, but also carbon steel, and for low pressure conditions, PVDF/PP plastic bag filter housing is also available. Comparatively speaking, under high pressure conditions, SS bag filter housing is more resistant to corrosion, high temperature and abrasion, and has a longer service life.
The corrosion resistance of 304 SS bag filter housing is not as high as that of 316 SS bag filter housing. 304 SS bag filter housing is more suitable for water treatment, which is not highly corrosive, while 316 SS bag filter housing is more suitable for highly corrosive working conditions. In the food and pharmaceutical industries, SS316/316L filters are preferred to ensure that they are safe, hygienic and bacteria-free.
