What Is FiltEdge's Sintered Filter?
FiltEdge’s sintered filter is a high-precision, high-strength, and reusable sintered filter element with a diameter of 0.1-200 μ m. It includes various materials such as sintered metal filter, sintered plastic filter, as well as various forms such as sintered filter tube, sintered filter plate, and sintered filter disc. FiltEdge can be customized according to your actual traffic and installation needs to better handle extremely harsh working conditions. It can be widely used in industries such as petrochemicals, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food and beverage, and heavy industry dust control for liquids and gases, providing you with efficient and economical industrial filtration solutions.

Classification of Sintered Filters
FiltEdge has over a hundred types of subscribed filters for you to choose from based on size, shape, material, interface, and other factors. Alternatively, you can provide us with specific operating conditions, and we will conduct an analysis of the conditions and provide recommendations for selection.

It is also a sintered filter that can withstand extremely high temperatures of 1000 ℃, solving the problem of filter softening and melting. It can be used for waste gas incineration, biomass power generation, petroleum catalytic cracking, etc.
The sunken woven wire mesh filter has excellent through permeability/liquid permeability, and after backwashing and backwashing, it can quickly restore system flux for you.

Its high pollutant capacity and low fluid resistance make it the preferred filtration structure for high flow industrial exhaust gases and high viscosity industrial viscosity liquids.

We can customize the length and diameter for you, widely used as sampling probes for online monitoring of factory chimneys and various liquid flow pipelines.

The compact disc can provide you with the final interception of hard dust particles at the end of gas/liquid pipelines, gas analyzers, etc.

The lightweight tablet design makes it easy for you to assemble. It can be used as a large dust-proof filter wall for central fresh air systems in airports and office buildings, or as a water collection and separation plate for industrial water treatment filters.

Heavy duty filter plate, designed for harsh working conditions such as high flow rate, high pressure, and high temperature.
The Advantages of Sinted Filter
In harsh and complex working conditions, disposable filter cartridges not only incur replacement costs, but also cause frequent shutdowns. And FiltEdge’s Sintered Filter, with its excellent performance and technological advantages, brings you safer and longer lasting industrial grade filtering.

Sintered metals and plastics have high mechanical strength and can remain sturdy and durable even under a pressure difference of 0.4 MPa, without perforation or collapse.

The Sinted Filter can handle operating temperatures ranging from 80 ℃ to 1000 ℃, from low-temperature fluids to high-temperature exhaust gases, achieving efficient and stable continuous filtration for you.

The accuracy of the Sintered filter covers 0.1 μ m-200 μ m, which can intercept micron sized particles for you and ensure downstream purity.

The sturdy sintered filter element will not shed its own material during long-term use, meeting the sterile and pollution-free requirements of pharmaceuticals and biotechnology.

Sintered filters support ultrasonic cleaning, chemical solvent cleaning, and high-temperature backwashing to extend the lifespan of the filter and reduce your operating costs.

Sintered filter cartridges have excellent backwash regeneration rates, which can greatly shorten the cleaning time of filter materials, reduce your downtime, and ensure the continuity of production.

The Sintered filter adopts an integrated sintering and high-strength welding process to eliminate the risk of leakage caused by adhesive and material aging.

The porosity of powder sintering is about 40%, and the porosity of fiber felt sintering is as high as 80%. With a larger flow rate, it can improve the filtration efficiency of your filtration system.
The Application of Sintered Filter
FiltEdge’s sintered filter comes in a variety of materials and sintering processes, which can filter liquids, dust, and gases from various production processes in different industries.

Asphalt mixing plant tail gas dust removal, lime and cement kiln flue gas treatment

Fly ash from garbage incinerators and hazardous waste incineration flues to block dust in the humid and hot exhaust gases of chimneys

Recycling of precious metal catalysts and purification of strong acid-base fluids

Large infusion and injection decarbonization filtration, sterile process steam and air delivery

Pre installed dust prevention and washable green air purification system for airports and transportation hubs
End filtration of air supply in wafer workshop, laboratory anti-corrosion and disinfection exhaust
Sintered Filter vs Regular Metal Mesh
Whether it is powder sintering or wire mesh sintering, both of them obtain sturdy and rigid blocks due to the sintering process. Compared to woven metal mesh, the structure is more stable and will not deform due to flow impact. It can filter out every drop of liquid 100% without the possibility of bypass.

Sintered Filter vs Fiber Filter
Compared to fiber filters, Sintered Filters are more resistant to high temperatures and pressures, and there will be no medium leakage during filtration, allowing you to filter liquids with higher purity. Sintered filters can also be reused, unlike fiber filters which are disposable consumables, allowing you to purchase them once and save on long-term consumable costs.
Authentication of Sintered Filter
FiltEdge’s sunken filter has obtained multiple international certifications such as ISO, CE, FDA, etc., providing you with high-quality filters with strict standards. At the same time, we can apply for specific certifications tailored to your industry and regional market needs. And fully support third-party testing agencies to conduct full process production supervision and factory quality control for you.

Quality Control of Sintered Filter
Before shipping to you, FiltEdge will conduct chemical composition testing on the raw materials of each batch of your sintered filters. We will check the temperature vacuum history curve of each batch of filters, as well as perform a complete set of pre factory inspections such as maximum aperture testing, air permeability and pressure drop testing, and weld seam testing. To provide you with stable accuracy and pressure resistant sintered filters, to assist in your production.

According to the minimum diameter of the particles you need to filter, the filtering aperture of the sintered filter needs to be slightly smaller than the particle diameter, but not too small, as it will cause the pressure drop of the filter element to soar rapidly. You can inform us of your working conditions, and we will analyze and make a decision for you.
We can customize sintered filters for you in all aspects. In addition to conventional cylindrical tubes and blind threaded filters, we can customize special sizes of sintered Dis, sintered plates, conical parts, multi-layer composite shaped parts, and non-standard connecting flanges according to your drawings. And we will send you samples in 7-10 jobs.
Under standard operating conditions and proper cleaning, the service life of our sintered filter is usually around 4 years, but the specific service life depends on the characteristics of your liquid and flushing maintenance. If the working conditions are stable for a long time and well maintained, the lifespan can also be doubled.
