What is Double Bag Filter Housing?
FiltEdge’s double bag filter housing is a duplex filter housing. It is two identical filters connected together in a U-shape or side-by-side to allow you to have a backup filtration unit. When the pressure difference reaches a set value, you can switch the filter slurry from the main drum to the backup drum manually or electrically. This process doesn’t have instantaneous flow rate and sudden pressure increase, and it allows you to generate your production line in a stable and continuous manner. You can clean the main filter drum and replace the filter bag without time pressure, which will not cause your capacity to drop.
Our double bag filter housing can be mainly used in chemical, food and beverage, paint, ink and other industries. According to your actual working conditions, we can provide you with SS304, SS316, carbon steel filters and corresponding seals. If the working condition is special, we can also provide OEM/ODM customized service for you.
Types of Double Bag Filter Housing
FiltEdge’s regular double bag filter housing is mainly used for the number of bags below 8 bags. However, we can customize the filter housing with up to 24 bags for high flow conditions. FiltEdge’s double bag filter housing of course has matching filter bags, not only filter bags and other consumables, including seals, pressure gauges and other spare parts can also be provided.
It is recommended that you install a differential pressure gauge on the double bag filter housing so that you can check the value of the gauge during regular maintenance of the unit. When the differential pressure reaches 0.15-0.2MPa, it is time to replace the filter bag.
The quotation of FiltEdge’s double bag filter housing includes not only the main part of the filter housing, but also the support basket, bag presser and sealing ring. It is a complete unit that you can put together and use. The bag filter is not included. If you have other needs, you can contact our sales staff for an additional quote.
This is not recommended as a rule. The appearance of the double bag filter housing is the same as that of some cartridge machines, but the internal structure is not quite the same. If you need to use a cartridge machine, you can communicate with our factory to see if your filter can be adjusted internally and changed into a cartridge machine.
