FiltEdge’s single cartridge filter housing is a complete assembly that includes the cartridge platen, stainless steel compression spring, top locator, and a full set of pre-assembled sealing O-rings. We will provide you with a list of products at the time of shipment. Filter cartridges are considered consumables and are not included in the single cartridge filter housing. However, we at FiltEdge offer a one-stop shopping service, so you can request a quote for a combination of filter housing + filter cartridge.
Our single cartridge filter housing can be used not only for liquid but also for gas. However, the selection of the filter material inside is different and the connection form is different, so you cannot simply use the same filter for liquids as for gases. For example, if you use hydrophobic PTFE folded cartridges, our single-core filter housings are widely used for precision filtration of aseptic respirators on top of fermentation tanks, compressed air, and so on. And it is best to use quick release chuck connections.
