Packaging of 6 Bag Filter
6 Bag Filter already belongs to the heavy-duty filter housing, it has been wrapped by our bubble film/pearl cotton, as well as stretch film, and the fittings are firmly fixed. The flange and other key parts are again protected. The base is bolted down to ensure that the filter does not shift in the non-steam wooden crate. Your mark and important identification are affixed on the outside of the wooden box. You can rest assured that you will receive the filter in good condition.

We have 3 main types of 6 Bag Filters, and the way they open and close directly affects the time it takes to change the bags. Usually it takes about 10 minutes to change the bags. If you want to change the filter bag faster, you can consider the quick-opening 6 Bag Filter.
For normal neutral liquids, you can consider carbon steel with anti-corrosion coating to save cost, or 304 stainless steel. For acidic and alkaline solutions or food applications, we recommend that you use 316 stainless steel for the housing container. In addition to the filter housing material, the choice of seal material is equally important. We have EPDM/Viton/PTFE seals for 6 Bag Filter.
Theoretically it is compatible, but in practice it is not recommended. Because the cartridge filter housing and the bag filter housing have the same appearance, but the internal support structure is not the same. So you can’t simply replace the filter bag in the 6 bag filter with a cartridge.
Our filters have a pressure gauge connection and you can install a differential pressure gauge. When the gauge shows a differential pressure of 0.05-0.1 MPa, the filter bag can be replaced.
FiltEdge’s 6 bag filter is certainly easy to clean. Although the 6 bag filter is already a large filtering equipment, we have the opening and closing structure that can be operated by one person. Secondly, the welds on the inside of the filter are flat and polished, so there is no liquid residue, and you can clean the entire inside of the unit through the bottom drain. If you face the situation of replacing slurry, our filter basket can also be pulled out directly, which is convenient for you to maintain the whole filter.
