Each of FiltEdge’s three 4 bag filter housings has its own focus. If you want to maintain and replace the filter bag quickly, you can choose the quick-open style, which can open the heavy lid for you in 15 seconds. If the working conditions are harsh, the working pressure is very high or the cleanliness requirement is very high, we recommend you to use the bung opening, which can be constructed in a safer way. If the frequency of bag change is medium and your budget is limited, you can choose the hand crank type.
Yes, FiltEdge’s 4 bag filter housing is compatible with International Standard #1 and #2 bags as well as FSI standard bags. The #1 and #2 bags have the same diameter, not the same length, so the flow rates are not the same. Also you can’t put both #1 and #2 bags in the same 4 bag filter housing. If you need to use a different size bag, you need to change the filter basket.
For most lines, the filter bags need to be replaced when the differential pressure reaches 1.5 – 2.5 bar (approx. 22-36 psi).
